We have put together this list of Frequently Asked Questions to help you decide where you would like to stay during your next vacation. It is our goal to make sure that you have a memorable stay and are a returning guest of Sugar Sands Vacation Rentals. If you have specific questions that are not answered below, please feel free to contact us.

Q. Who manages your condo?

A. We own several condos and manage others as well. We process deposits, payments, housekeeping, maintenance, rental policies, etc.

Q. How do we receive our keys to the condo?

A. We use the keyless entry system for our condos. You will receive a key code prior to your arrival that you will use for your dates of stay.

Q. What are the dates of availability?

A. Each unit displays a calendar that shows the dates of availability.

Q. Are there a minimum number of days that are required for booking?

A. Yes, during the peak summer season, most properties will have a seven (7) night minimum stay. All other times during the year will require a three (3) night minimum stay.

Q. Do you offer special or discounts?

A. Sugar Sands Vacation Rentals, is an alternative to booking through a third-party travel site or large management company on the beach. We have rates in almost all cases that are below what these agencies offer.

Q. How much deposit is required to book my reservation?

A. For certain properties reservations require a security deposit at the time of booking, If the reservation is booked less than 30 days, the security deposit and reservation total is due at the time of booking. For other properties reservations greater than thirty (30) days, a thirty (30) percent deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Reservations less than thirty (30) days require full payment at the time of booking.

Q. Are there any extra fees with booking my reservation?

A. There is a four (4) % reservation fee, a $45 accidental Limited Damage Waiver (LDW) fee, and applicable state and local taxes.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?

A. Cancellations made greater than thirty (30) days prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of the reservation and limited damage waiver fee. Cancellations that are made less than thirty (30) days prior to arrival will result in 100% of the full reservation total.

Q. Is there a housekeeping charge or daily maid service.

A. Yes, a housekeeping charge is applied to each reservation. Daily housekeeping services are not provided.

Q. Are pets allowed, is it okay to bring my pet?

A. We love pets, however, pets are not allowed in any Sugar Sands Vacation Rental Property.

Q. When is the check-in and check-out time?

A. Check-in time will begin after 4:00 pm. Due to our high housekeeping standards, early check-in may not be allowed. Check-out time is at 10:00 am.
